The link posted by admin is not working
This should have been a core function years ago. You spend countless hours building back links to product and category pages. Someone goes in and updates the product or category names and boom all link juice is gone. IMO when an seo URL is changed whether it is a product, category, brand or info page a 301 redirect should be created by default. There should also be the ability to upload 301's from a text file. This may be a deterrent for anyone coming from another ecommerce store/platform. I realize that you can do this by editing an .htaccess file, but for most this is not an option.
It will be a nice function that gives lots of SEO boost.
Considering the third party add-ons; I personally will skip with that due to low Quality.
I recently bought one add-on ($85) and it’s totally useless.
So, this function should be available in CS-CART by default.
i have paid cs cart to do this and it works very well so they can do it
