How can we improve CS-Cart?

  2. Vendor Pages

    Add company_name in the SEO settings for Pages to look like this in the
    Page SEO URL format:

    /company-name/parent-page/page/

    Now all pages created by vendors go to the root and are listed under the Site Info in the Sitemap, which is a wrong behavour inherited from the single CS-Cart with one single vendor.

    This is conceptual bug and has to be fixed.

    It is not technically SEO, but still is iotimization of the CS-Cart search engine :-)

  4. Add a basic product options dependency

    I think this was available in v3 but was removed in v4? I want to have an option but it can only be visible/selected if the parent is chosen. So if I have A & B as options in a drop-down, C and D are children of A and E and F are children of B. The children are dependent on the parent and only show up when their parent is selected.

  5. Add a price modifier for the product Text option

    This is a simple yet useful idea. If I have a product with personalization, I need the customer to enter the customization, but I also need to charge them for it. Currently, the cart does not offer a price modifier for text fields. I have to create 2 products instead, which is inconvenient.

  6. Reversed Orders

    From an accounting point of view, You can't delete a transaction. You need to reverse it.

    So, If a client submitted an order and for some reason he wants to cancel/return the order, the original order should remain in Complete status and a new order is created linked to the original one with a specific Order Status (Returned for example).

    If you log the first order in your accounting book, you don't have to go back and delete that transaction. So it will create another log with Negative amount and Positive inventory.

  7. Lock quantities on product edit page

    A design tweak that we feel is necessary.

    As our shop grew, we often have multiple people updating and editing products. With people ordering at the same time. This can create situations that makes the stock amount incorrect. Example:

    Someone is editing the text of a product, keywords, etc. This takes 20 minutes.

    At the same time, someone orders the product 3 times.

    Now, the person editing the product hits save. The stock is now back at its old value, meaning there are 3 products too many in the system.

    but is missing "Product name" field for export.

  9. Stores Locations on Vendor's Page

    I would like to suggest the inclusion of a Seller Location Map Block to be included on the Vendor's page.

    The vendor page contains the Vendor's logo, the vendor's products, the vendor's products filters but does not contain the map of the vendor's stores locations in case customers would prefer to pick up in store.

  10. Product Approval

    I would like to suggest that vendors could see that a product is pending approval on their side.

    CS-Cart currently allows admin to approve products based on the tutorial below:

    So, at the moment, admin can see those products, but vendors can't.

  11. Notification system for admin panel

    It will be very useful if admin and vendor panel will have notification system like on facebook.

    So for every order, vendor application, new reviews, new complaints about order we can see the notification.

    It can be like that:

    on admin and vendor panel there will be small box with the name of Notifications

    and below that :

    New orders: 4
    New vendors: 5
    New reviews: 19
    and so on.

    Returns is one of the MOST important features for any marketplace.CSCart Marketplace lacks in this department.

    Firstly, there is no notification on the dashboard.
    The Vendor and Marketplace Administrator should both get notifications of a return request as (for example the main admin gets with a vendor application notification on the dashboard on login)

    Secondly, as it is the vendor's product and marketplace administrator does not handle stock, vendors need to first approve refund then move on to do refund payment and then notice should come to administrator to then refund their share.

    Kindly consider how difficult,time consuming and un-effective…

  14. Improve Variant Functionality from CSV imported data

    Currently - the cart updates pricing, product code and the image based on the values in the variant's csv file row's data. But it doesn't update the product name or description - its uses the values in the configurable product row for all variants.

    Updating those fields from the variant's row's data would allow much richer information to be available to the customer.

    Since the update is already done for 3 fields, extending to 2 more should be a quick and easy modification from the cscart team.

  15. Automatically made reports on Vendour payout

    I really miss the opportunity to have the system integrated with a function that allows the system to generate a monthly report on each vendor to the store owner where all the orders, returns, freight, commissions, monthly fee and maybe some sort of addons of products the vendor bought from the store owner was put together and sent to the store owner and vendors showing what the vendors payout was last month, my store is located in Norway and we can not use automatic payouts to the vendor since we are using Klarna Checkout.

  19. Being able to turn-on or off add-ons per shop

    When using multiple storefronts it is not possible to install an add-on for 1 store only. It would be installed on all stores inside the Admin panel.

    Please make it possible to install add-ons per shop, with the ability to make a selection on which stores it needs to be installed.

    Customers should be reviews also. If a customer has good reviews from vendors, it means that the customer picked up their package and payed the money. It happens to vendors to ship packages and customers not to pick it up.
