You will perhaps also need to be able to set the currency of each product as well as the price.
You might like to vote for the "Currency Per Product" request here: http://cscart.uservoice.com/forums/40782-professional/suggestions/551931-currency-setting-for-each-product?ref=title

        Oh ...And yes I agree:
Automated emails need to be Order Status dependant.
Actually, all templates need the ability to be Block dependant :
        Order Status,
Supplier (some orders have more than one supplier),
        Shipping Method,
        Shipping Address (country)
        Billing Address (country)
        to list a few.

Yes this is a MUST-Have. I have made several custom templates over a few years, and its a pain in the rear each time I need to update cs-cart.
One important issue when designing this is that most Mail Client apps (Outlook, Apple Mail, etc) do not support CSS very well. The layout often defaults tho the mail programs settings for font styles etc. The only way to reliably display an emailed invoice/confirmation is to use simple html code for each and every line. Using PDF may sidestep this issue, but for a html formatted email, forget using CSS style sheets. Text formatting and table layouts, background images ... everything needs to be simple line-for-line html formatting.
There needs to be an easy way to select Order Data and drop it into a wysiwyg editor. I can imagine that this will be a major project. Looking forward to it !

              ATTENTION MODERATORS !
This functionality will be needed within the "Multiple Warehouse" suggestion:
              http://cscart.uservoice.com/forums/40782-professional/suggestions/500071-multiple-warehouse?ref=title

Perhaps the Moderators of this forum could merge these two threads together, and sum the current votes, as a "Multiple Warehouse" will require the ability to define the "Product Currency" independent of Store currency.
With this function, the Store Default Currency is redundant.

I cant believe that this has so few votes. This should be a standard feature for any shop using dropshippers from different countries!
Guess I'lll never see this happen then :(

... lets not forget that many mobile data plans are stupidly expensive. Mobile skins generally dont display all the advertising and complex graphics that the standard skins do. Mobile skins are quick and to-the-point keeping mobile browsing costs to a minimum.

                      JoeJoe commented  ·

Andrew, this cannot be done properly. The arrangement of Blocks is not specific to a particular Skin. Clearly your mobile skin Block arrangement will not have left or right columns, but the PC skin most likely will have.
CS cart needs to keep block setting stored in DB differently for each skin for his to work. A quick assessment reveals that cscart will need to make big changes to the core code to enable this. Would have been nice to see in 2.1...

Seems to me that, At the moment , you can make the store skin compatible with iPhone etc, but the settings are all stored in the database, thus your Desktop skin is effected. You cant have the customer select (or be automatically selected) a different skin, with different block definitions. To do this w cscart you need TWO stores; one for desktop browsers and the other for mobile browsers, both stores must use different DataBases. The CsCart "architects" will need to change the way that all settings for anything under /skins is saved. Either shifting it out of the main database to tables specific to each skin or saving skin settings in a file under the "/skins/myskin/" folder.
