You should be able to customize each storefronts look and feel. A new template should be able to be applied to each vendor if they request it OR atleast have a few option/templates to select from.

On a basic level, colours should customizable. This prevents all stores looking the same.

There needs to be a communication box added so that a customer can contact a vendor before a sale, so that they can ask any questions ahead of time.

Every Vendor can connect his own 'store' to the Facebook as separate app from other vendors... So he is promoting his store only (and together with it our main store as site)

Vendors need to be able to offer their own coupon codes to customers. Currently this can not be done. Currently the admin can create 1 coupon code for the whole site to use. This is great for the regular cs-cart version but not the multi-vendor.

Vendors can add special DEALS which can be realted to existing product or additional item.. then terms and benefits, coupons etc like real GROUPON site.. separate per categories (so the owner can choose if this will be cities, regiosn, services etc..)

Each vendor should have their own payment methods instead of admin control all. These are good for those admin don't charge commission but charging subscription.

If two vendors both sell the exact same product it will cause lots of duplicate products. What about a way for a vendor to add a product and an auto-complete/ajax tells if the product already exists in the database. If yes, the vendor selects this.

On the main store , if someone selects the ipod, you can sort by vendor review rating or price.

When an order comes in for 3 separate vendors, the 3 vendors should automatically get paid. One option might be to give each vendor the ability to add their own payment processor. This is to avoid the administrator from having to do payouts manually and then manually updating CS-Cart to let it know. If it did this, I'd purchase the Multi-vendor software, but without this it's really not worth the high price.

Why cant each vendor have products displayed in the appropriate categories on their storefront. Other competing systems ALL do it. You should not have to click a link to see a list.

You should be able to browse by category. For me this is a must if you want to launch something like amazon/ebay.

Just like Customer's storefront, vendor's interface and logic needs to be customizable. Hope somebody sees this feature is necessary too.

The cart really needs to remove the shipping from the calculated vendor commission or atleast have the option to remove this.

I would like the option to input some vendor terms and conditions into the admin and it comes though on the apply to be a vendor sign up form as a checkbox they need to click to submit the form.

When a customer picks up different vendors' products, when browsing the cart content, he needs the following features:
1) View products with subtotals by each vendor. He should be able to expand/collapse each vendor's cart content. When collapsed, the subtotal should be displayed. Maybe it should be done like different views alike products list in a catalog.
2) There's a lack of product description and features display in the cart. Just like it is in the Products list in a catalog.

The Product Filters are an extremely effective way to search for items, however they cannot currently be used to filter a list of products when looking at a specific vendor. Product Filters should be made to work on returned search results for the best search experience.

Vendors when signing up should be able to select a package or payment plan. This would limit their functionality such as number of products they may add or allow a certain number of products to be featured or highlighted on the site and so forth. The packages would charge a fixed fee (month, yearly) or be on the commission basis which is already available.

There should be the option to allow a vendor to also be a customer and make purchases. Ideally then we can setup the vendors on a separate user group and other vendors could offer vendor only discounts etc. They should only need to use the one email address and account for both the customer login and the vendor login.

Currently within the system we cannot add the vendor user accounts into the mailing lists. It would be good to be able to add them to a seperate mailing list to contact them all at once. I am currently doing this manually via mailchimp.
