Please create a skin that can be used by developers to aid in the creation of a brand new custom skinned CS-Cart store. The current skins contain far too much presentation code to start off a new store with so this developer skin should contain just the very basic elements that are needed. For example the overall layout, blocks. The number of divs, classes and spans should be dramatically reduced and the stylesheets should contain only essential rules. This developer skin could be added to the current list of skins available upon install and should be upgraded to match new version of the cart.

Ability to add multiple products to the cart with one "Add to Cart" button. This was available in 1.3.5, but removed from the 2.0.x versions. This feature should also allow different quantities added for the individual products. This feature should list each product on its own entity line in the View Cart Page. This is different from the Configurator or Buy Together feature that lists the products together in the same group on the View Cart Page and ties the quantity together.

There is a huge need for better control of all communications/emails sent from the store. We need the ability to have our own footer as well as header on all emails including choosing which header/footer to use for a particular type of email. An email center/tab in admin to manage and create emails, attach them to processes such as order status etc.

I'd like to be able to assign or limit shipping methods based on various options, like category, item, location, etc... For example, I have some items that MUST be shipped only by overnight or next day UPS or FedEx. I have other items that MUST be shipped only by Ground carrier. Currently, all shipping options are available regardless of category or product, and it causes problems with having to contact customers to change their shipping method, cost, etc.

Modern methods of Vimeo, YouTube embedding etc. rely on the <iframe> tag, not the <embed> tag. To ensure mobile support for included videos, CS-Cart needs to support the usage of the <iframe> tag in product descriptions and blocks.

Many of my customers like to log in daily just to get a quick idea of how their site is doing. They all have slightly different ideas of what should be on the dashboard. (After upgrading to 2.2.1 one of my clients was very upset that the declined orders no longer showed up in the dashboard, another was upset that the YTD totals disappeared) It would be nice to have some simple admin settings so they can customize the main statistics just a wee bit to show what they want to see time-wise and order-wise.

I would like to see any RMA/message be put into a seperate support section, more like a ticket system so staff can be assigned and the full conversation monitored with ease. Also with the implemention of a RMA system. also perphaps adding the tickets to orders so when we open the order staff can see the relevant messages to the orders.

Weird behaviour when using additional currencies... Base currency is EUR and customer uses USD currency. The item is 100EUR so their order/invoice shows a price of $150USD, the currency rate is 1.5. But when I change the rate to 1.4, his past 'completed' order/invoices will change the price to 107 EUR ($150USD divide by 1.4). This is incorrect because he paid 100 EUR and not 107 EUR. All placed orders and invoices should be have fixed amount at moment of placing that order.

For customers that would be a great feature, as well as for vendors. With groups, blocking, status (on/offline) and with history record, regarding the context. I.e. if there's a discussion on the order using IM, it should be saved and attached to the order.

XML Data Feed(Importing supplier's XML) [updated]

1.Creating an automated mechanism that can read XML files from vendors, use XSLT to convert that data to a standard XML format and then have a process that can read that standard format and update the product inventory appropriately. 2.There would be an option named "From suppliers database" like the other options "server","local server" and we will write suppliers' warehouse link to force the system for downloading the XML file. 3. XML profiler: Having a chance to set custom fields,add/remove coloumns.In other words, convert all suppliers' xml files into a standard xml profile. 4. This import will update product catalog,categories,sub-categories,price,stock info, product pictures,thumbnails,vat info at least. 5.The next time after updating inventory, the system will import only new products and it will update the changings only.This will give us an ability not to loose anything if we play with product info.ie.changing description of a product after importing XML will loose if we update again from the supplier. 6. a inventory matrix, commonly used in the fashion industry for stock management would be a great method for allowing complex stock management in an inventory tab. It could show products (with filters) by a top level option, and then lesses option under, creating a easy to edit speadsheet like grid.

Just realized that CS-CART missing one important feature for Best selling - Product Quick View. If you turned back the ecommerce clock a few years, you'd find that most retail sites had very clear paths from the home page or a landing page to a product detail page. This path was created to help shoppers step easily through the site's content to the products that interested them. While these clear paths are good for many reasons, unfortunately the landing-page-to-category-page-to-product-detail-page-to-shopping-cart model rarely works in a real shopping experience. Rather, a shopper might arrive at a landing page; go to the home page; go to a category page; and then move back and forth from a category page to several different product detail pages before making a buying decision. With this more realistic shopping pattern in mind, many leading ecommerce sites are implementing "Quick Views" that allow shoppers to get more information about a product from either a landing page or a category page. This approach means that shoppers will land on fewer product detail pages, but it does strive for a better shopping experience and may expose potential customers to more of a merchant's inventory.

Add the ability to bind a shipping method to a payment method. For instance, COD is both a payment method and shipping method and, once COD is chosen as the payment method, the shipping method should be automatically set to COD also.
