I suggest you ...

Currency setting for each product

I want to be able to set the price of some products in USD, some in EURO and others in AUD.
This way, the pricing of the products are automatically competitive when selling worldwide from multiple suppliers. The shop automatically calculates & shows the product price in the currency selected by the customer at the current exchange rate.

I agree, here are some ideas:
        1. Add the "Buy currency rates" page to the admin panel.
        2. All secondary currencies will be displayed on admin page. The admin will be able to specify the "Buy rates" values on this page.
        3. Add the "Currency" field to the "Import products" and "Import Qty Discounts" functionality.
        4. The currency code should be placed in this column for each product/qty discount in the CSV file.
        5. During the import, we will add the calculation of the product prices basing on the "Currency" code and its Buy rate.
Please note that default "Currency rates" will be used like "Sell rates" in the storefront.

all this because buy and sell currency exchange rates are different.

Remember that having this feature combined with a buying price (in the currency that our supplier use) will give automatically our profit.
I will post this same comment in the multiple warehouse suggestion forum as well, hope that moderators finally merge votes, becuase is really the same suggestion. Thanks Joe, good point!
        greetings.

        ATTENTION MODERATORS !
This functionality will be needed within the "Multiple Warehouse" suggestion:
        http://cscart.uservoice.com/forums/40782-professional/suggestions/500071-multiple-warehouse?ref=title

Perhaps the Moderators of this forum could merge these two threads together, and sum the current votes, as a "Multiple Warehouse" will require the ability to define the "Product Currency" independent of Store currency.
With this function, the Store Default Currency is redundant.

I would certainly like to be able to set the base price for and item in a different currency. I have some items from other countries and I have to regularly update the prices for each item when the exchage rate moves.

In my case, we need multiple currencies so much so that its linked to the supplier from different countries. (so would be good to set up multiple currencies for us to choose for that group of particular products).

I have my own User Voice issue here -- listed as Multiple currencies...

I cant believe that this has so few votes. This should be a standard feature for any shop using dropshippers from different countries!
Guess I'lll never see this happen then :(
