multiple warehouse
it's working like this, suppose I have three warehouse, in China, UK, Melbourne, so globle customer will choose the nearest warehouse so as to save delivering time and shipping cost. plus, each warehouse have the status which you can config at the admin back end,"in stock" or "out of stock"

There are many other "Ideas" posted on this uservoice that would be part of this Multiple Warehouse issue.
I wish people would vote for this idea instead of creating new "Ideas" -

I desperately need this ability, Product pricing and currency, get rid of the "store currency" it is redundant. We need Product currency , without it dropshiping cannot be done properly.

Be sure to add the ability to display the location store for each product!

This is a hugge bonus. Very common. Even OSCommerce is offering this. CS-Cart is a better program. They should get this one going...

Yes Albert, Your need is something that will need to be addressed. The shipping rates CURRENCY and the product price CURRENCY need to be considered as part of this mod. With so many stored drop-shipping, I cant understand why this thread has so few amount of votes.

as for me, it is more to drop shipping case.
I have my own product at warehouse, at the same time I put other product from drop ship supplier in a few other countries at my website to sell.
Problem is when customer place order by combining my product and product from other supplier, shipping will undercharged. I need to ship out my product 1 time, then supplier need to ship out 1 time from their location. This especially become very serious when customer place order to ship by FedEx, and expect all products arrive at the same speed.
I need the feature to set remote product to tie to different shipping rate..

I agree, here are some ideas:
1. Add the "Buy currency rates" page to the admin panel.
2. All secondary currencies will be displayed on admin page. The admin will be able to specify the "Buy rates" values on this page.
3. Add the "Currency" field to the "Import products" and "Import Qty Discounts" functionality.
4. The currency code should be placed in this column for each product/qty discount in the CSV file.
5. During the import, we will add the calculation of the product prices basing on the "Currency" code and its Buy rate.
Please note that default "Currency rates" will be used like "Sell rates" in the storefront.all this because buy and sell currency exchange rates are different.
Remember that having this feature combined with a buying price (in the currency that our supplier use) will give automatically our profit.
I will post this same comment in the professional forum as well, hope that moderators finally merge votes, becuase is really the same suggestion.

There are about 4 Topics in this uservoice that shold be covered under this topic. I wish the moderators would combine the votes here and delete the other topics regarding Product Currency.

Yes, Joe is right... but further to the requirement for each product price to be in a selectable currency.. I need to be able to/great to have:
1. enter My Buy price rather than the product sell sell price.
2. enter a % margin, fixed margin and minimum margin eg (mx+b)>min
Because all my prices are sent to me as my Buy price, and my sell price is determined by a time consuming offline spreadsheet, then imported.
It would be much easier to just import my buy price in the currency of the warehouse location, and have the margin automatically applied.
The Margin formula could be entered when Editing/Bulk edit the product(s) listing. -

You will perhaps also need to be able to set the currency of each product as well as the price.
You might like to vote for the "Currency Per Product" request here: http://cscart.uservoice.com/forums/40782-professional/suggestions/551931-currency-setting-for-each-product?ref=title -

I believe some of us have this similar issue but in my case.. the different warehouse in different parts of the world.. stems from different suppliers.. with different currencies.
So if there's a way to link the supplier / warehouse to the origin currency (the currency that they quote their price to) -- this is a significant improvement for those of us who use multi-warehouse. or dropshipping perse.
Thank you for suggestng this! You have my support!

Yeah.. that's it, you can easily set which warehouse is available and show your customer how many days we need to adjust the inventory from this warehouse to another.

Typically the store owner decides what warehouse to ship from not the customer. This would be an admin side issue at best imo.
