Store Email Management
There is a huge need for better control of all communications/emails sent from the store. We need the ability to have our own footer as well as header on all emails including choosing which header/footer to use for a particular type of email. An email center/tab in admin to manage and create emails, attach them to processes such as order status etc.

Custom Review Attributes
Ability to define custom review attributes (Good, Fair, Poor ect...)

The custom review attributes in the above link are:
Durability, Fun, Educational, Overall ect...In addition the reviews need to have a more professional layout as shown in the above example, even better looking.
The admin should be able to setup the custom review attributes on a per product basis because the attributes can differ based on the product and customers should be able to vote on each review attribute with the results displayed as in the above link.

File attachment on order communications
It would be nice that an administrator or customer can attach files to a comment/note on a particular order. For example, I am running a large format printing site, and I would like to show customer a digital proof, or sample printing before I ship the order. If I can attach file to an order, so that the customer can confirm before I ship, that would be super!

allow customers to purchase items that are not in stock and it creates a backorder for the item
Many places or industries understand that special ordering may have to happen. Allow products to have a negative order so that people can go ahead and place an order for an item not in stock. It should put up a warning saying, "Our inventory shows that we only have 2 in stock, would you like to backorder the other items you have ordered?" And it would allow the order to go through without automatically adjusting the quantity in the cart.

Members will earn points when they post a review for a product. And maybe be able to post photos or videos and earn more points.

Seperate Support
I would like to see any RMA/message be put into a seperate support section, more like a ticket system so staff can be assigned and the full conversation monitored with ease.
Also with the implemention of a RMA system.
also perphaps adding the tickets to orders so when we open the order staff can see the relevant messages to the orders.

Multivendor version. Communication between admin and vendor
in the multivendor version, there is no communication area between admin and vendor back office.
Vendors can't find the admin email or phone number.It is very weird that nobody has thought about this. How vendors can contact admin if they have any question? No form, no email, no phone number.

Newsletter Support for Each Storefront in Ultimate
The Newsletter functionality in Ultimate doesn't seem to be tailored to work with individual Stores. In fact you cannot even see the Newsletter menu item unless you are in all stores.
We want to keep our subscriber lists separate from each other. Also I feel like there are some rules about this since the user thinks they are signing up for one list but really being added to a, possible, completely different list.
I would love to see the option to choose which newsletter/mailing list(s) are for each store.

SMS trigger points
Include sms trigger points that automatically sms customers with oder status updates as their order is processed.
IE, when the when the order is shipped the system sends and sms to the customer with a notification and the shipment tracking number.6 votes -
Instant messenger (IM) for Multivendor edition
For customers that would be a great feature, as well as for vendors. With groups, blocking, status (on/offline) and with history record, regarding the context. I.e. if there's a discussion on the order using IM, it should be saved and attached to the order.

GetResponse.com - mailing list integration
It is not possible for small shops send email on shared hosts.You simply get banned by ISP or by google. They do not recognise us as trusted mail host to send multiple emails. Therefore we need integration to some of world recognised email systems. I would appreciate integration with getresponse.com. But full integration. For new accounts, newsletters etc.

sms texting as default
with versions 1.3.5 spX, we could have our orders sms text us with the mods found in forums, this didnt require and clicktel accounts which costs the beginners more money, we request you integrate going forward sms texting the way it should be, freely!

"Credit only" option for affiliate system
A simplified version of the affiliate system where customers can refer their friends and earn store credit or vouchers (provisioned automatically), instead of money.

Autoresponder
Automate communication with customers to take place after the order event like review the product, special coupons or discounts, post on Facebook, etc.
This would be a big thing to help manage the customer relationship.
