Starting in late August 2010, we are making some changes to how your products in the Electronics, Books, and Media categories may appear on Google Product Search. In order to provide as much information as possible to our users, we need your help in matching your products to our "product pages" where users are able to view useful data such as product specifications or reviews. If you are submitting products in the above categories for the US version of Google Product Search, please start including unique product identifiers, such as MPN, Brand, UPC or ISBN. We will make similar changes to Product Search in the UK and Germany at a later date.
These attributes will not be required for your feed to process correctly, however, to avoid seeing a drop in traffic from Product Search, we urge you to start including these unique identifiers as soon as possible. You can find unique product identifier information on Product Search product pages, under the "technical specifications" section for Electronics items, the "Tracks" or "Details" section for Media, and the "Overview" section for books.

Currently within CS-Cart, when a form field is required, it gets given the class of "cm-required" which in turn adds a red asterisk background image to the related label. This is not accessible for people with impaired vision.

Please could this system be changed in future versions of CS-Cart to display an actual asterisk character which could then be read by screen readers, making the forms more accessible to users of the system who have impaired vision?

This applies to all forms such as registration, checkout and custom forms created with the form builder add-on.

Also as a side note, the image verification system is not accessible for visually impaired users, which means in order for these users to use CS-Cart the image verification system needs to be turned off. However if a system such as reCAPTCHA ( http://www.google.com/recaptcha ) was integrated into the CS-Cart system, users who are visually impaired would be able to use the audio option to spell out the characters needed to be typed into the verification box.

1) add sort options to sort combos by variant with second variant sorted by it's default sort order.
ie: black - small
black - med
black - large
brown - small
brown - med
brown - large

2) add "simplified view" option to make inventory updates easier. Each variant combo should be on one line with just the product name - the product # - the combo name and the inventory number box showing.
ie: nike shirt ...... sku#...... black - small .......10
nike shirt ...... sku#...... black - med ..........10
nike shirt ...... sku#...... black - large .........10

3) NEXT PRODUCT button at bottom of page that will take you to the next product in the product list.

The way as CS-Cart (not the Smarty templater) caches pregenerated PHP scripts in var/cache should be definitively improved. Currently too many small files pushes PHP and filesystem to the limit, making busy sites unpredictably unusable. Users must then clear cache via cron jobs too frequently and thus there's no purpose of caching as speed improving.
This concerns first off filtering, where CS-Cart stores thousands of filter combinations as PHP arrays in pfilter*.php files. These filter variables should be stored in some indexed DB table instead, maybe as MD5 hash and PHP code pairs, and for really speed improvement in some variable cache too (via memcached).

Product condition -

I need the ability to sell multiple conditions on one product. I mean if I am selling an iphone 4s then I want to be able to tell my customers if the item is used, new, like new, and so on. I think there needs to be a tab when your adding the product that says conditions..

If we had condition drop down box on the same page used to add a product, it would make listing of multiple conditions under one product possible. This is a highly needed` feature because it takes a very long time to add this to the options on each and every item.

I think once a product is created its not live yet until you list a condition. You can have 1 product and 10 conditions. For example I get in 10 iphone 4's and 2 are new, 4 are used - like new, and 2 are used - very good, and 2 are refurbished. I hope I didnt confuse anyone.

Can explain more but I have a great idea when it comes to this area.
