Be able to input old addresses and redirect them to new url, as Magento has. This can help move old categories, product and/or pages.
It would need to have:
1. Input old url
2. input new url
3. Choose between permanent (301) and temporary (302) redirect.

All image auto renaming according to its category or product name (or choose a option from both). Like if we upload a set of images like 100.jpg, 101.jpg, 102.jpg of tunics. And it is belongs to category tunic. It should rename automatically like this tunic-100.jpg, tunic-101.jpg, tunic-103.jpg. i think this will improve ranking in google image search.

I would like the ability to completely customize the url (like in Wordpress). Now, the url is the product title. I would like to be able to name it something keyword rich.

Example: instead of mysite.com/green-rug I would like the ability to name it mysite.com/wool-persian-green-fringe-hallway-rug

I know that you have the flexibility to name the product anything you want, but keywords aren't necessarily nice titles.

This is very important to know how many words has been written for better meta description, add words count on meta description field on admin panel. I know there is many online tools and ms word can do better but on live action this one i recommend. Please vote for this idea

I found myself that you have to set the "AllowOverride ALL" directive in the apache "default-ssl" config file when setting up ssl. There is no documentation note about this or i didn't found... plz add this somewhere
